Yozgat, Türkiye — Entrepreneurship Portfolio

Turning ideas into action.

Entrepreneur · Builder · Musician · Taekwondo Black Belt

I'm Rauf Can Türksoy, a high school student building a courier–restaurant platform, running an e-commerce operation, and leading an Entrepreneurship & Innovation Club — while performing music and training in Taekwondo on the side.

About

I'm interested in the intersection of entrepreneurship, business, technology, and human impact. Rather than limiting myself to classroom learning, I've tried to gain experience by actually building and managing projects.

I've explored e-commerce, developed a business idea connecting restaurants and delivery couriers, managed social media and marketing for a local bakery, and founded an Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club at my school.

At the same time, music has stayed a constant — performing piano at university openings, playing darbuka in a Turkish Folk Music Choir, and volunteering as a guitar and piano instructor. Five years of Taekwondo, and a Black Belt, taught me the rest: discipline, persistence, and the value of continuous improvement.

Entrepreneurship isn't simply about starting a company. It's about identifying a problem, taking initiative, building a solution, learning from failure, and creating value for other people.

Entrepreneurship & Leadership

Building, not just studying, the problem.

Three ventures, three different muscles — a platform from scratch, a store run end-to-end, and a community built from nothing.

Marketing & Social Media Manager

Local Bakery

Manage the social media and marketing for a local bakery — content, campaigns, and audience engagement — applying marketing concepts to a real, local business.

International

eTwinning Projects

Participated in eTwinning projects twice — once in 5th grade, again in 10th — early exposure to international collaboration and project-based learning.

Music

The same discipline, a different instrument.

Performing, teaching, and playing in ensemble — music taught me preparation, patience, and what it means to contribute to something larger than a solo act.

Performer

Piano

Performed piano at university openings and various public events, building confidence and the ability to perform under pressure.

3 Years

Turkish Folk Music Choir

Second percussionist on darbuka — an ensemble experience that taught me individual performance means more when it serves the group.

Volunteer, 2 + 1 Years

Guitar & Piano Instructor

Taught 12+ students guitar for free over two years, and piano for one — including helping students get access to their own instruments.

Discipline

Progress is rarely immediate.

I've practiced Taekwondo for approximately five years, with some breaks along the way, and I still train today. It's taught me that improvement comes from repeating fundamentals, accepting mistakes, and continuing even when progress feels slow — a lesson that shows up in every venture above.

Journey

From ideas to action.

These experiences look different on the surface, but they built on each other in order.

Music, first

Piano, then darbuka

Music came first — performance taught preparation and composure under pressure, and three years in a Turkish Folk Music Choir taught me to play my part inside something bigger than myself.

Discipline

Taekwondo, Black Belt

Five years of training built the discipline and persistence that everything else since has depended on.

First venture

E-commerce

Curiosity about entrepreneurship led me to build and operate an online store — my first real exposure to markets, customers, and digital marketing.

Bigger problem

Restaurant–Courier Platform

That experience pushed me to think about larger problems — leading to the platform I'm developing now, connecting restaurants and couriers.

Giving back

Innovation Club & free lessons

I wanted other students to have the same chance to experiment, so I founded a club at school — and kept teaching guitar and piano for free, because a skill is worth more when it's shared.
